Child Safeguarding Statement

This document outlines the official Child Safeguarding Statement for Naas AFC. All members, parents, and officials are expected to read and adhere to these guidelines.

Naas AFC is committed to safeguarding children in accordance with the Children First Act 2015. We ensure all children and young people participating in our football activities are protected from harm in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Members: 900+ Juvenile, 100+ Adult
Teams: 30+ (U8s to Over 35s)

Safe recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers.

Management of allegations of abuse or misconduct.

Provision of and access to child safeguarding training.

Reporting child protection concerns to statutory authorities.
