This document outlines the official GDPR for Naas AFC. All members, parents, and officials are expected to read and adhere to these guidelines to ensure a safe, fair, and legally compliant environment for everyone involved with the club.<\/em><\/p>\n

As of 25th May 2018, The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect. For Naas AFC to be compliant with these new regulations, the club must make you aware of certain data protection information relating to your personal data held by the club. The club requests that you opt-in to receiving communications from the club on all club matters. Please read and complete the form below and return to the appropriate team managers etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Naas AfC are the responsible Data Controllers of any personal data collected during the process of player registration (Personal Data). The legal basis for processing your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract and the purposes are to register and maintain membership with Naas AFC.
\nYour Personal Data can\/may be accessed by Club Committee Members, Team Managers & Coaches as well as certain members of the associated leagues (SFAI\/ K.D.U.L). In the event of an injury or insurance claim, details of your claim which will include your Personal Data will be passed to Naas AFC\u2019s insurance underwriters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I\/We understand that: The Personal Data will be used by Naas AFC for the contractual purpose of registering or re-registering and maintaining club membership with Naas AFC. The Personal Data will also be used for administrative purposes in order to maintain my club membership including team sheets, referee reports, disciplinary matters, injury reports, transfers, sanctions, permits, fundraisers, statistical reports & for the purpose of communicating updates on matches etc ( Text, Email, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.), Club News and events; the Personal Data will be retained by Naas AFC for such a period as my membership subsists along with a period thereafter in line with legal obligations and other requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I\/We can\/may cease my membership by writing to the club; (Naas AFC may need to retain your Personal Data after your membership ceases, however only where it is necessary to do so).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If I\/We do not provide my Personal Data, my membership cannot be registered with Naas AFC. I\/We will inform the club of any change to the personal data provided above.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You have the right to request a copy of all your Personal Data and can do so by contacting Naas AFC by email: info@naasafc.ie. You also have the right to have your Personal Data updated, rectified or deleted.
