Kill Celtic vs Boys U13 (2013) Premier<\/strong><\/p>\n

First Half<\/h3>\n

Our U13 Premier team made the short but daunting trip to Kill on Saturday morning for another SFAI Cup meeting with our local rivals. Kill knocked us out of the competition last season and we had suffered a heavy defeat to them on the opening day this season.<\/p>\n

We prepared well and had made plans to try keep Kill under wraps. It would end up being another rough day at the office against a really strong Kill side.<\/p>\n

We competed well in our 50\/50 battles and had a couple of early chances. If one of those goes in maybe the match takes a different path. Kill possess a really strong number 9 in David Idahoda who\u2019s physical power and finishing would prove to be a problem for our midfielders and defenders again. He made two half chances into goals late in the first half in what was otherwise a tightly contested match.<\/p>\n

Second Half<\/h3>\n

Soon after half time Kill hit us with three quick fire goals to take the game away from a battling Naas side. We continued to try get back into the game and the highlight of the game for Naas would come with the best goal of the game. Kian Shanaghy scored a belter of a free kick from 25 yards high into the roof of the Kill Celtic net. It was the least we deserved on a tough day.<\/p>\n

We get back on the horse with training again this week and prepare for the visit of Kilcullen next Saturday with a friendly against Newbridge Town on Thursday night. The league fixtures are relentless though and we face Kill again in two weeks time in the league. Hopefully we can settle a score with them then.<\/p>\n
