Taken off at the break to give the Kildare defence a breather (and probably himself), the game suddenly shifted. Kildare clawed it back to 3-2. Was Naas in trouble? Enter Niko — brought back on with 15 minutes to go, immediately dangerous, creating havoc in the Kildare backline.
Step forward Sean Savage — the man who never, ever stops. Two more goals from the relentless Savage sealed the deal. 5-2. Game over.
