Naas AFC’s U12 Major side booked a KDUL Shield semi-final spot the hard way — by winning a penalty shoot-out after a pulsating 3-3 draw with Kilcullen.
Alex S was simply unstoppable, running riot up top and grabbing a superb hat-trick, while the whole team shrugged off a second-half wobble to drag themselves level and force penalties.
Step forward keeper Evan — a giant between the sticks, denying Kilcullen not once but twice from the spot. Then up stepped Conor to rattle in the winner and send Naas into the semis in absolute scenes.
