Five-star Naas run riot at Rathangan
Naas AFC’s U14 Major 2 side put Rathangan to the sword with a stunning 5-2 victory, blending glorious football with a mountain of second-half fight.
Luke Brynard was the star of the show, rounding the keeper to open the scoring on 10 minutes before adding a second after a superb Sheasy through ball. Oscar Ross drilled in a rebound between times to make it 3-1 at the interval.
Rathangan refused to fold, pulling it back to 3-2, but Woodie’s brilliant header off the line steadied the ship.
Then came the late fireworks. Seanie produced a moment of pure class with a cultured chip on 65 minutes, before Will Jackson lashed home straight from the restart to seal the rout.
