Noah the hero as Naas clinch first win
Goalkeeper Noah pulled off a string of vital saves as Naas AFC’s U15s snatched a 3–1 win over Kilcullen AFC in their first home outing of the season.
The breakthrough came on seven minutes when fine link-up involving Thady, Davin and Frank found Fionn N in the box — and after two efforts were blocked, he drilled the third beyond the keeper’s reach.
Kilcullen levelled after 25 minutes, but Naas regrouped after the restart. Frank beat two men before threading a lovely pass for Luke, who held off two defenders and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.
With ten to go, Luke’s corner bounced in off a defender to seal it. Andrew and Jayden defended stoutly, and Noah was in fine form throughout — Player of the Match.
