Savage hat-trick fires Naas to emphatic win
Sean Savage bagged a brilliant hat-trick as Naas AFC’s U16s ran out 4–1 winners over Newbridge United in a commanding display.
It had been eating Savage that he hadn’t scored this season — but once the first hit the net, he couldn’t stop, firing home three in a true captain’s performance. Eoin Hennessy, set up by Nikodem Dziabor, added the fourth late on.
The unsung hero was James Lynch, an unstoppable engine in midfield who popped up every time an attack broke down — pounding after the ball, never quitting until it was dead.
Naas finally have their season up and running, outworking and outbattling their rivals from the first whistle to the last.
