Naas AFC U14 Premier made it back-to-back league wins with a commanding 5-0 victory over Athy Town, and it was patience rewarded in the end.

Up against a goalkeeper in sensational form, Naas had to bide their time. But the breakthrough came just before the break when Adam Conroy pounced on a parried Kellum Finnegan strike to fire home.

After the restart the floodgates opened. Captain Peter McBride made it two, before Senan Smyth grabbed a quick-fire double — the second a stunning left-footed finish into the top corner after a magnificent team move built from the goalkeeper all the way up the pitch. Antoni Karpierz rounded things off from Leo’s pass.

Five goals, a clean sheet, and the trust in their football shining through.
