Seven-up Naas sparkle in the sunshine

Naas AFC U14 Major 2 produced a seven-goal exhibition to rout Caragh Celtic 7-1 away on a glorious sunny morning, with Adam Zawierucha stealing the headlines with a hat-trick.

Charlie pounced on a spilled effort to open the scoring after ten minutes, and even full-back Woody got in on the act with a rare goal. But the pick of the bunch was a move of pure quality — Woody feeding Tighe, whose flick released Ryan to cross for Charlie to lay off, and Tighe arrived to finish what he’d started.

Adam then took centre stage with two composed finishes either side of the break, Ryan slotted home another lovely team goal, and Adam completed his treble to put the icing on a sun-soaked cake.

Seven goals, a hat-trick, three points — a brilliant day at the office.
