Naas Blue Storm Back From Two Down

Naas Blue Storm Back From Two Down

Naas Blue pulled off a sensational comeback on home soil, roaring back from 2-0 down to sink Kildare Town Black 3-2.

Kildare flew at them early, their number 6 smashing through the back four to open the scoring inside ten minutes, before doubling the lead moments later.

But the fightback was on. A coolly-taken penalty around the quarter-hour mark lit the fuse, and a sharp striker reacted quickest to a goal kick to level it at 2-2.

Cian — named Player of the Match after a two-goal masterclass — then led the charge as Naas grabbed a breathless winner to complete a famous turnaround.
