Naas AFC have seen unprecedented interest from parents wishing to sign their children up to play football for Naas AFC. As you can imagine the administration efforts to stay on top of these enquiries can be intense. To try and make things a lot easier for coaches, players and parents we have signed up to use a Sports Management platform. This platform will make it easier to follow club news, fixtures and team activities and most of all it will eliminate the need for WhatsApp groups.

For parents wishing to add your child to a waiting list please follow the instructions  below on a smartphone only.

Step 1 – Download the SportMember app to your Smartphone using the link underneath

Note: Please ensure that notifications are switched on. 

All club and team communications will be via the SportMember platform. The only way to ensure that you will receive important information about events (e.g. training cancellation, time changes etc) in a timely manner is to ensure notifications are switched on.

Step 2: Set up a SportMember Account (please note for players under the age of 18, any contact details included should be those of the parent only)

A. Click “Sign Up”
B. Fill in your details
C. Choose a username and password
D. Your account has been created

Step 3: Set up your child’s profile

A. Click “Sign Up as a parent”
B. Click “Create a new Profile”
C. Insert your childs name
D. Choose a username and password for your child
Congratulations! Your child’s account has been created and is now linked to your account

Step 4: Find your child’s age group

1. Insert Naas AFC in the Club Field. 2. Select “Football” from the dropdown menu. 3. Click Search
Find the Age group appropriate to your child and click “Send Request”

Step 5: Wait for Coach’s Approval

The team coach will receive your request to join the team. When the coach approves your request you child will then join the team and will have access to all team news via the application.

Please note: This request is just an expression of interest. Until the coach approves your request your child is not part of any team.
