NAAS SECOND BEST AS KILCOCK ROMP TO 3-0 WIN
Naas AFC’s U16 Major 2 lads were left chasing shadows on Saturday afternoon as a sharp Kilcock outfit stormed to a fully deserved 3-0 victory on home turf.
From the first whistle the visitors had the bit between their teeth, outworking and outplaying the home side to take all three points with something to spare.
It was a tough afternoon for the young Naas boys, whose delayed pre-season and stop-start preparations clearly took their toll. The rhythm and understanding will come with more minutes on the pitch — this side has far too much talent to stay down for long.
