RAMPANT NAAS HIT EIGHT IN MOONE MASSACRE AS HAT-TRICK HERO JAMES LEADS RIOT!
TALK about bouncing back with a vengeance! Reeling from last week’s derby heartache against Naas United, Naas AFC’s U12 Major gladiators didn’t just lick their wounds on Saturday morning — they went out and unleashed absolute pandemonium in Moone.
From the first blast of the whistle, the young Blues were fired up and ready to rock, bombarding the Moone backline with relentless pressure. Just four minutes in, Matthew danced past his marker with dizzying feet and whipped in a peach of a cross for James Doyle. With the ice-cool composure of Roberto Baggio at Italia ’90, James rounded the stranded keeper and smashed it home to draw first blood.
With midfield dynamos Jason and Max pulling the strings in the engine room, Naas were knocking loudly on the door. On 20 minutes, Bobby swung in a wicked free-kick and James pounced like a predator to double the lead before the break. Moone battled bravely, but Naas were simply unstoppable.
If Moone hoped the storm would pass at half-time, they were in for a rude awakening. Naas flew out of the traps like greyhounds. On 32 minutes, Alex Szablowicz delivered a pinpoint corner and Matthew soared into the sky to bury an unstoppable bullet header. Three minutes later, Matthew went on a dazzling solo rampage — beating three, four defenders before firing into the bottom corner. Sensational!
The floodgates were blown wide open. Eoghan McCarville calmly slotted the fifth before midfield wizard Sebastian Kolter took over, ducking and weaving like Katie Taylor to serve up an assist masterclass. First he teed up Darragh Pearson for number six, then carved open the defence for James Doyle to complete a sublime hat-trick. Finally, Jason Wang showed steel nerves to roll in number eight.
Eight goals in 50 minutes. A clean sheet for Alex K, Darragh P and Bobby at the back. And an emphatic message sent to the rest of the league: Naas AFC U12 Majors are well and truly back in business! 💙⚽
