Bobby’s hat-trick sparks fightback in the frost

Naas AFC U12 Major warmed up a bitterly frosty morning with a sparkling 5-2 win away to BBC — and it was Bobby Pigott who caught fire with a superb hat-trick.

Like the frozen windscreens, Naas took a while to thaw. BBC flew out of the blocks and led early, and only some outstanding stops from Evan kept them in it. But the Majors soon found their rhythm, James tucking away a lovely team goal to level before Bobby twice dragged Naas back from behind.

After the break it was one-way traffic. Matthew unleashed a thunderbolt from outside the box, and Bobby rattled in two more — one a cheeky first-time effort that slipped through the keeper — to complete his treble and seal a dominant second-half display.

A slow start, a storming response, and three points in the bag.
