Incredible Naas Comeback Stuns Kildare

Naas AFC’s U15s staged a jaw-dropping comeback in horrendous, windswept conditions, clawing back from 3-0 down to snatch a 3-3 draw at Kildare Town.

Battling a gale-force wind in the first half, Naas found themselves three down at the break after a torrid spell in the elements.

But what a response. Cian fired the comeback, drilling low into the bottom corner before producing a sublime chip to make it 3-2 — then Fionn looped a beauty over the keeper from a corner to level it.

Naas almost won it at the death, only for the Kildare keeper to claw Fionn’s effort off the line. A fair result, but oh so nearly a fairytale.
