Naas AFC’s U17 Major 1 side swaggered to a 3-1 friendly win over their U16 counterparts on Wednesday night — and did it in style.
The boys raced into a one-goal lead before the break thanks to a first-half strike from Ryan O’Rourke, then turned the screw in the second half as Abdullah and Cameron both found the net.
Operating in a 4-2-3-1 shape, the lads played out from the back with real confidence, switched the play at will, and — best of all — didn’t concede a single foul throw all evening. That’s the kind of discipline that wins trophies.
