AGAIN SO CLOSE! NAAS U12 REDS NARROWLY EDGED OUT
Naas AFC’s U12 Red side pushed a promotion-chasing Castle Villa team all the way — but once again came up agonisingly short in a 2-1 defeat.
After falling behind early, the lads grew into the game, with Jamie Harford grabbing a deserved goal late on to set up a tense finale.
John and Logan sparked the right flank into life, Adi was immense in midfield, and the back four of Conall, Matthew, Sam and John looked rock-solid as the game wore on.
