Davin dazzles but Moone Celtic run riot
Naas AFC’s U15s learned just what the top flight demands, as last year’s runners-up Moone Celtic ran out 8–2 winners in a painful opener.
Davin was the pick of the visitors, coolly bringing down Frank’s cross and finishing in the bottom corner to give Naas a deserved foothold. Frank then blasted a penalty into the top corner after Fionn F was fouled in the box.
Frank showed real intent all afternoon, testing the keeper with a fierce drive, while Rhys went close and Frank was denied by a fine save after being played through.
But Moone were ruthless. Three goals in a punishing final eight minutes took the shine off a spirited display and left Naas heading home with plenty to build on.
