EIGHT-GOAL NAAS RUN RIOT AS U17s BLITZ KILCOCK
Naas AFC’s U17 Major 1 boys opened the new season with a bang — an 8-0 demolition of Kilcock Celtic that had the touchline buzzing.
Ryan O’Rourke fired the hosts ahead early before Cameron doubled the lead, bravely bundling home despite taking a ball flush in the face and busting his lip in the process. The tough nut even wanted back on 20 minutes later.
Leading 2-0 at the break, the second half was a procession. Leban stole the show with a hat-trick, Rohit thumped home a brace, and Emmet rounded it off as Naas slammed in six after the interval.
At the other end it was every bit as impressive — Fionn was immense at the back, his booming clearances turning defence into attack all afternoon, as the lads battled and scrapped to keep a clean sheet right to the final whistle.
