A football pathway for every player

Behind every session, matchday, and tournament is a team of almost 150 parent volunteers. Their dedication earned Naas AFC the FAI Club Mark in 2025 — recognition of the governance, safeguarding, and coaching standards that set this club apart.

COMPETITIVE & NON COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Players aged 5–11 develop through our non-competitive Academy programme, building skills through fun, small-sided games. From U12 upward, teams compete in the KDUL across Premier, Major, and Cup competitions.

COACHING COURSES

We run regular coaching workshops — heavily subsidised by the club — so our volunteers can earn FAI and UEFA qualifications. Better-trained coaches mean better football for your child.

ACADEMY FOOTBALL

Our Academy runs every Sunday morning — 09:45 kick-off in winter, 08:45 in summer. It’s where the youngest players (ages 5–8) discover a love of football through movement, ball skills, and making new friends.

HIGH QUALITY COACHING

Our coaching staff includes UEFA-licensed coaches who support volunteer coaches across every age group. Their expertise lifts the standard of training for every player in the club.

AWARDS CEREMONIES

We host two awards ceremonies each year: one in November for our non-competitive and girls’ teams, and another in May to celebrate the competitive season. Awards are coach-voted and player-voted — recognising effort, attitude, and improvement.

Every coach and volunteer at Naas AFC is Garda vetted and has completed FAI-approved safeguarding training. This commitment earned us FAI Club Mark accreditation and gives parents confidence that their children are in safe hands.
