Soccer Club Programme aims to deliver an enjoyable and excellent learn to play experience with quality teaching.

Our structured coaching pathway takes players from the basics to advanced technique. Whether your child is learning to pass for the first time or preparing for competitive league football, every session is designed to build skill, decision-making and game intelligence at the right pace.

Football is for everyone. From our non-competitive Academy for ages 5–11 to our 30+ teams across all age groups, Naas AFC makes sure there’s a place on the pitch for every ability level. Over 900 young players already call this club home.

Coaching at Naas AFC goes beyond drills. Our UEFA-licensed coaches and Garda-vetted volunteers run structured sessions that teach positioning, movement, tactical awareness and teamwork — giving players the football education they need to compete and enjoy the game.

As a volunteer-run club, everything we build comes from our community. Our fundraising efforts go directly into better pitches, equipment, coaching courses and subsidised programmes — so that cost is never a barrier to a child playing football in Naas.

Winning matters, but how you play matters more. We encourage fair play, respect for opponents and referees, and the kind of attitude that makes football a positive experience for everyone on and off the pitch. It’s at the heart of our FAI Club Mark commitment.

Football is a team sport — and so is running a club. With over 150 volunteers, 9 committee members and hundreds of families pulling together, Naas AFC proves what a community can achieve when everyone plays their part.

Every player develops at their own pace. Our coaches focus on encouragement, effort and improvement rather than results alone. From our bi-annual awards ceremonies to everyday training, we celebrate the players who show up, try hard and support their teammates.

Joining Naas AFC means joining a football family. Membership gives your child access to weekly coaching, competitive and non-competitive matchdays, qualified coaches, and a community of over 800 active members — all based at Naas Sports Centre on Caragh Road.

OUR PRINCIPLES

Naas AFC is run entirely by volunteers — parents, coaches and community members who give their time to keep football alive in Naas. Our committee oversees everything from player welfare to pitch maintenance, and we’re always looking for new people to get involved.

New to football? No problem. We run programmes for complete beginners and ensure every new player is matched to the right group for their age and ability. Talk to us about where to start — we’ll find the right team for you.
