SUCCESS FROM THE START

What started as a grassroots initiative in 1990 has become one of Kildareβs most established football clubs.

With over 900 juvenile and 100 adult members across 30+ teams, Naas AFC regularly brings home league titles, cups, and shields. Success at the club isnβt measured in trophies alone β but theyβre a welcome reflection of the work our players and coaches put in.

In its first season, the clubβs Under-13 team won the DDSL trophy β a statement of intent that set the tone for decades of competitive football.

The Academy welcomes boys and girls aged 5β8 every Sunday morning. Itβs where young players discover the basics of football β skills and friendships that stay with them throughout their journey in the game.
NAAS AFC FOUNDED

COVID CHALLENGES

Grant funding helped the club invest in facilities, coaching courses, and equipment β supporting a period of record growth that continues today.

Naas AFC plays its football at Naas Sports Centre β three full-size grass pitches, a 7-a-side pitch, a 9-a-side pitch, and dedicated all-weather training areas that keep players on the ball year round.

The Academy runs every Sunday morning β 08:45 in summer, 09:45 in winter. Boys and girls aged 5β8 are welcome to come along and start their football journey.

At Naas AFC, success means more than silverware. Watching young players grow in confidence, make lifelong friends, and fall in love with the game β thatβs what drives our coaches. A player who feels supported and challenged will always give their best.
