Naas AFC U17 Premier 7–2 Athy Town
KDUL U17 Premier League | Saturday, 9 May 2026 | Naas Sports Centre
The U17 Premier team capped a superb 2025/26 season by being crowned KDUL U17 Premier League Champions with a dominant 7–2 home win against Athy Town. A goal-fest from start to finish — and a fitting way to seal the title in front of a packed Naas Sports Centre.
From the opening whistle, Naas pressed high and looked the sharper side. The early breakthrough settled any nerves, and from there it was relentless attack — wave after wave of pressure, clinical finishing, and team play of the highest order. By half-time the game was already out of Athy’s reach.
The second half was a celebration. The lads kept their standards high, refused to ease off, and the goals kept coming. Athy battled to the end and grabbed a consolation brace, but this was Naas’s day — a champagne performance to clinch the championship.
A dominant performance from start to finish, the result caps a superb season for the U17 Premier side and confirms Naas AFC as 2025/26 KDUL U17 Premier League Champions. Huge credit to the players, coaches, and management for the work that’s gone into this title-winning campaign — and to the parents and supporters who’ve been there all season long.
Up next: the U17s travel to Togher on Friday 15 May for the KDUL U17 Cup Final against Kilcullen AFC — a chance to add silverware to the league title in a memorable double.
