Naas AFC’s U15 Shield campaign came to an end on Monday night as Kildare Town Red ran out 6–1 winners in the semi-final at Naas Sports Centre. The visitors took early control of the tie and Naas could not recover, though Captain and the squad battled to the final whistle. A disappointing result for the U15 boys, but plenty to build on as league action continues against Coill Dubh (Fri 22 May, 19:15, Doctor’s Road) and the U15 Major 2 League away to Monasterevin (Thu 14 May, 19:30, Togher).
