First Half

Match Report: U14s – Naas vs Kilcullen

Naas got off to a strong start, with solid performances from the defence and midfield keeping Kilcullen at bay early on. The pressure paid off 20 minutes in when Kate opened the scoring to give Naas the lead.

Second Half

Kilcullen responded with an equaliser from a well-taken corner, Just before halftime, Kate struck again—this time calmly finishing a one-on-one with the keeper to restore Naas’s advantage.

The second half began with renewed energy from Naas, particularly in midfield where Kimberly and Marie put in a strong shift. However, Kilcullen found another equaliser through a well-placed through ball, making it 2-2.

Ellie then put Naas back in front with a well-deserved goal, capitalising on sustained pressure. But Kilcullen weren’t done, grabbing another goal to set up a tense final 10 minutes.

Despite immense effort from every Naas player, the match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. A strong team performance with plenty of positives to take forward.
