The Opening
Another super performance from our U10 squad.
Emily opened her account for Naas scoring one of the early goals in the match. Margaret started her goal scoring masterclass in the first quarter and continued it with her second appearance in the third. Eve is really coming into form and was super unlucky not to get her first goal tonight. Another strong performance from Clara in midfield, included a lovely individual goal to add to the 5 scored already scored this season.
The Action
Some fantastic stops from Maria in goal kept Sallins at bay, including a fantastic instinctive save when one on one with the Sallins striker.
A smart throw in from Ava split the defence and allowed Margaret in to score one of the last goals of the night.
The Finish
Super exciting to defenders like Ava, Sophie, Eilis, Lauren and Molly taking the ball forward and then rushing back to their positions to close down Sallins attacks. Our strong defence has been key to our success this season so far.
Zoe, one of our new players, certainly didn’t show it tonight with several dispossessions, keeping Naas moving forward.
