Girls U12 (2014) 9:0 Coill Dubh

A sunny Thursday evening and Coill Dubh came to town to take on the Naas girls.With them they brought a large group of supporters. A record of 4 wins from 4 games.Naas,too,had 4 from 4 so something had to give and it was the girls in pink and blue who stretched their winning streak to 5 from 5.
A physical team with some good passing moves it looked like the visitors would be a tough test. Two quick fire goals from Kayley Farrell set the tone for the match.Even with plenty of changes from the sidelines Naas kept their rhythm and produced another great performance all over the pitch.
A special mention to Lucia Kavanagh who had a solid game in her very first appearance for the side.Also with her best game so far Ava Hartigan who no doubt will be happy to have the bragging rights over her Aunt and cousin who were involved with the Coill Dubh team.
