Match Report
A very competitive contest with Clane coming in fresh from an 11-1 victory the prior week. Naas dominated the early exchanges with Senan, Theo, and John all causing problems, but couldn’t convert their chances. Clane scored against the run of play at 16 minutes.
Naas equalised through Oisín Smith‘s superb finish, assisted by Josh Hunt. A dubious penalty extended Clane’s lead just before halftime (1-2). In the second period, Naas pressed forward but struggled when committing players upfield, and counter-attacks yielded two additional goals for Clane.
The 1-4 result wasn’t an accurate reflection of the game.
