Naas AFC started the game strong and were assured in defence. They closed out everything Dunlavin threw at them and finally caught Dunlavin on the break with a long ball over the top from Noah Hardiman which found Callan Fitzgerald who timed his run perfectly before slotting the ball just out of the keepers reach to make it 1-0 to Naas. Dunlavin kept the pressure up and were eventually broke down the Naas defence to score two quick goals just before half time.
Naas were slow to get started in the second half and quickly conceded another two goals. Naas kept fighting and Woody McConnon had a shot just wide. Dunlavin were relentless in attack and forced Naas to make errors and ran out 6-1 winners in the end.
Best for Naas were Matthew Hayes who played his first game in defence for the team. Noah Hardiman who battled hard and won plenty of tackles in the Naas defence
