The Match
A tough physical match against our strongest opponents yet.
Several of our early attacks were shut down by fouls with Ava and Margaret being awarded several frees right from the whistle.
The Result
Hazel was very unlucky not to score two, one from a beautifully weighted corner kick from Emily. An another that rattled the upright after a ridiculous half volley from just inside the Rathangan half.
Stellar performances from defenders Ava, Anna, Madison and Molly, super goal tending from Maria who stopped several goals, A hard day in the office for midfielders and strikers, Emily, Aoibhinn, Hazel, Aoibhin, Sophie, Eve and Margaret who bravely battled through several late tackles to take the game to Rathangan.
Well done again from all the coaches!!!
