The Opening
The Naas AFC U11 prem team travelled to Kilkenny for a fantastic tournament experience, playing nine tough and competitive matches plus a thrilling final.
From the first whistle, the boys showed brilliant determination and teamwork across the pitch. Facing strong, physical opposition, they battled hard in every game. Over the group stages, the team secured 2 excellent wins, earned 4 hard-fought draws, and narrowly lost 3 games.
The Action
The highlight of the day was the team’s spirit — every player gave 100%, supporting each other with great passing, communication, and tireless effort.
In the final, the boys showed immense heart and character in a tough encounter. It was a nail-biting match that ended in heartbreak, with the opposition scoring a last-minute goal to snatch the win.
The Finish
Despite the final result, the Naas AFC players can be incredibly proud of their performance. They represented the club with pride, showed great sportsmanship, and left everything on the pitch.
