First Half

SFAI Cup Round 2 – Naas U14 Girls vs Mullingar

Naas U14 Girls travelled to Mullingar for Round 2 of the SFAI Cup. The game began evenly, with both sides creating chances, though Mullingar had the clearer opportunities early on.

Second Half

Mullingar took the lead midway through the first half, Naas responded quickly when Lana played a superb through ball to Ellie, who finished confidently into the top corner. Just before half-time, Mullingar regained the advantage to make it 2–1 at the break.

Facing strong winds in the second half, Naas battled hard. The back line stood firm, and Laura in goal was quick off her line to deal with dangerous through balls. Despite their defensive efforts, Mullingar extended their lead to 3–1.

In the closing minutes, Ellie grabbed her second goal to reduce the deficit and pile on late pressure, Naas couldn’t find the equaliser before the final whistle.
