Match Report: Naas Orange vs Kilcock u10
Second Half
Naas lads continued on from their excellent second half performance against Kilcullen to give a dominant performance.
1st Half – Kilcock started brightly and had a cross in from the left which they converted to give them an early lead 1-0 Kilcock. Kilcock started the brighter of teams with Tagh in goals producing a couple of great saves. John D was solid again in defence and had another great all round performance.
Naas started to find their rhythm and were denied a goal with Michael getting penalised for challenge on keeper. Jamie was introduced and had an excellent impact on the game. Some great play from Jamie with a tidy finish put the sides level 1-1. Naas had then a chance to go into the lead with Leon unlucky with his strike clipping outside of the post after good buiild up play from Michael. The sides went in level at half time.
2nd Half – Jamie put Naas 2-1 up straight after the tip off. He was rewarded with a hatrick when Daragh had a strike the came off the post and Jamie finished 3-1. Despite being well in control Naas had Jack and Padhraig at the back to thank in keeping the opposition at bay with another stellar performance.
Naas went in search again with great ball out from Tagh found Senan who produced an excellent through ball for Leon to slot home with a finish 4-1. Senan then provided a cross for Matt to slot home his first goal 5-1. Matt followed up with a second with a mistake from the goalkeeper 6-1.
Senan with a player of match performance had a great strike with buildup play from Leon on the right 7-1. Cian then got forward and poked in another for 8-1. Matt rounded off the afternoon with his hatrick 9-1.
Brillant performance from the lads in only their second game. They are really starting to click into gear. Plenty to look forward to with this team.
