Boys U16 (2010) Premier 0:3 Cherry Orchard

First Half

U.15 Prem had second friendly of the season against Cherry Orchard up in the Orchard. The Orchard team featured two former players of Naas Prem in James Collins and Harvey Bowers.

Nothing in the first half with Orchard getting a very lucky goal from a momentary lapse in the Naas defence, who otherwise defended brilliantly. Orchard also got a very dubious peno, the saved which excellent James Lennon- making his debut after stepping up from the Major team. Once Naas settled into the game there was very little between the teams.

Second Half

Second half Naas management made 6 changes, so the full squad got a good run out. Naas tired a little in the second half, Orchard added a couple of goals before Naas rallied again and had the last 3-4 chances of the game.

Debuts for James Lennon, Donncha Hickey, Tadgh Fennell, Shaun Haugh, who all acquitted themselves very well. Also welcome return for Adam Bracken and Ben Harrington from LOI to the club. In addition first run out for the GAA lads of the season.

Excellent performances from the entire squad but notable debut performance and heroics from James Lennon.
